Russian PM signs devt strategy for small businesses until 2030

MOSCOW, Jun 9 (PRIME) -- Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said Thursday he had signed a development strategy for small and medium-sized businesses until 2030.

“I have signed a document – a development strategy for small and medium businesses until 2030. Certainly, our task is to support people who want to develop their own business. Unfortunately, we are behind advanced economies in terms of the level of small and medium business. And we should help people to occupy a new niche, integrate advanced technologies. That’s why the task of the strategy is to help small and medium businesses to obtain a big share in the economy of our country,” he said.

The strategy is aimed at easing small and medium businesses’ access to money and engineering networks, as well as reducing administrative burden, Medvedev said.
